I went! I didn’t know about this blog until like just now… or I would have said something sooner… But I did go and it was awesome. Especially the snow, it was way cool.
Well, I went first to my emails, then myspace and now to the blog. Using technology for its best! I went to the advance (yeah!) and despite my lacking snowboarding skills, the weekend was incredible! I might even try again (however, next time will start with me enrolling into snowboarding school!).
Hey I just want to say thank you to everyone! Going into this not knowing anyone it turned out to be a great experience. I had tons of fun and wanna say thanks to Cori Fisher for forcing me to go, and to everyone else your awesome!
This past weekend was literally a life changing weekend for me! I am so excited about it! I just want to tell everyone how amazing MY God is!!! I learned some huge things this weekend, but not from Randy (sorry) but from the book i was reading. It is called Blue Like Jazz. My relationship with Christ has become just that, a Relationship, instead of a ritual. I have heard so many times that Christ died for my sins, and all that, but i guess i never internalized it. I never thought about how the God of the whole universe made ME, and loved ME, and wanted ME!!! One of the key verses that I picked up on was 1 john 4:19 “We love because he first loved us.” How amazing is that? The only way that I can ever really love Him, is by accepting that it is not I who chose Him, but He who chose me. I have accepted God’s Grace finally, and I just want to shout from the top of a mountain and tell everyone how in Love I am in with God. Christ became personal this weekend, I guess you could say I finally plugged into Him on a personal level. Being a Christian is not about following rules and regulations, but about falling in love with your creator! I am so excited about this change in my life. It is an awesome feeling to be connected with the maker of all things!
Anyways, that is what is on my heart right now. Sorry Randy, i wasn’t always paying the best of attention to you, but i was processing this book!
